Murano Rostrato Table Lamp, Italy c. 1940

Vintage Murano glass table lamp in the rostrato technique, circa 1940. 

A gorgeous mouth-blown lamp that emits a magical glow. As much a piece of art as lighting; a favourite of vintage Murano collectors worldwide.

Rewired to Australian standards on purchase. Please allow roughly one week for this process to be complete.

Approximately 21cm H x 14cm W

Condition 

Great vintage condition. All spikes are intact, highly unusual for a rostrato piece which has traveled long-distance. Some small sand deposits from the glass blowing process at the very bottom on one side of the base.
