If you've just purchased an item through Curated Spaces, or are thinking of making a purchase but want to know a little more about how our shipping works, you've come to the right place!
Local pick up
Our pieces are always available for local pick up if you're in the same location as the item and wish to pick it up yourself. Each item will have its location mentioned in the item description, so you can see if local pick up will be an option for you.
Once you have made your purchase, we will be in touch with more details on how to pick up your item.
Of course, if you are in the same location as the item but would prefer a local courier to deliver the item to you, this is also an option. More on couriers below.
Other delivery methods: Fixed rate shipping and local or interstate courier services
Some smaller items (e.g. lamp shades) are able to be posted at a fixed shipping rate. This rate will depend on the weight of the item and will be listed at checkout.
If the item is more fragile it will only be available for local pick up or delivery by speciality couriers, because we can't bear the thought of our one-off vintage pieces breaking on their way to you!
If you are purchasing a larger or heavier item that is located in a different state to you, it will also need to be couriered.
For items that need to be couriered, you will need to arrange and pay for a courier to deliver the item to you. You may wish to obtain a quote from a courier before making your purchase in order to factor courier costs into your purchasing decision. Shipping / courier costs are not included in the cost of the item.
To help our buyers with the courier process, we have put together a list of local and interstate couriers who have worked with Curated Spaces before. It is just a starting point and you are welcome to use a courier of your choice, but we hope the list is helpful to you.
