Vintage Mid-Century Teak Sideboard — Attributed to Danish Deluxe

A beautiful example of Australian mid-century design, this striking teak sideboard, attributed to Danish Deluxe, brings together warm timber tones, elegant proportions and thoughtful craftsmanship.

Dating to the late 1960s or early 1970s, the piece features beautifully figured teak with distinctive grain patterns and contrasting timber detailing. Its clean architectural lines, gently elevated silhouette and understated design make it a timeless addition to both contemporary and vintage-inspired interiors.

Four central drawers provide generous storage, including two with original fitted cutlery compartments, recently refreshed with deep green felt lining. Hinged cupboard doors on either side open to reveal adjustable shelving, offering plenty of room for everything from tableware and linens to those miscellaneous treasures that never quite find a home.

Equally lovely as a traditional dining room sideboard, a living room credenza or a statement piece beneath an oversized artwork.
