Vintage Damascene Style Hexagonal Side Table with Mother of Pearl Inlay

A beautifully detailed vintage Damascene style side table, featuring intricate timber marquetry, warm toned inlay and shimmering mother-of-pearl panels.

The hexagonal top and architectural base give the piece a strong Moorish influence, with pointed arch cut-outs, fine geometric banding and decorative inlay running across every face. It has that wonderfully collected, old-world feel that works just as well in a maximalist interior as it does beside something very clean and contemporary.

Condition

Vintage condition with visible water/ring marks and areas of discolouration to the tabletop, including a darker circular mark. There are also small scratches, scuffs and finish wear to the top and edges, minor losses/wear to some of the mother-of-pearl and timber inlay, and general age-related wear to the base
