Vintage Chinoiserie Bamboo & Cane Pagoda Étagère

A beautiful vintage Chinoiserie bamboo and cane étagère with a sculptural pagoda-style top, woven cane backing and intricate architectural bamboo detailing throughout.

Three open display shelves offer plenty of room for books, objects and ceramics, while the lower cabinet adds concealed storage behind geometric parquet-style bamboo doors. Original brass hardware brings just the right amount of patina.

The detailing is what makes this one: arched bamboo motifs to the sides, curved canopy lines, cane shelf surfaces and a beautifully aged honey-toned finish. It has the presence of a statement piece without feeling visually heavy.

Dimensions

H 197cm × W 75cm × D 40cm

Condition

Excellent vintage condition overall. Some age-related wear and patina. A few small pieces of decorative cane are missing to one side as pictured. Woven cane remains intact with no tears.
