Vintage 1980s Danish De Luxe Three-Piece Lounge Suite

A beautiful example of late mid-century Australian furniture design, this original 1980s Danish De Luxe lounge suite combines architectural timber framing with generous proportions and wonderfully understated upholstery.

Comprising a two-seater sofa and two matching armchairs, the suite features beautifully polished solid Australian hardwood frames, distinctive oversized exposed bolts and gently curved backrests. The clean, boxy silhouettes are softened by plump, tufted cushions upholstered in a textured oatmeal fabric.

There is something effortlessly appealing about the contrast of warm timber and neutral upholstery. A little Scandinavian restraint, a little Australian nostalgia, and plenty of character.

Designed with comfort and longevity in mind, the suite would sit beautifully in a mid-century home, a relaxed contemporary interior or alongside a more eclectic collection of vintage pieces.
