Made across multiple hinged panels, the screen is richly detailed throughout, with pierced carving that lets light pass through and gives the whole piece a beautiful sense of movement. The warm timber tones are picked out with hand-painted greens, reds, ochres and soft pinks, making it feel part folk art, part sculpture and part room divider.
