Set of 8 Vintage Chrome Dining Chairs with Terrazzo-Style Seats

A wildly good set of vintage dining chairs with slender chrome frames and colourful terrazzo-style round seats in red, green and blue.

The frames are beautifully graphic — all sharp angles, fine tubular lines and a distinctive V-shaped back detail — while the playful coloured seats soften the look and give them a real 80s / postmodern / Italian-design feel. They’re light visually but still have a strong sculptural presence, especially as a full mixed-colour set.

The combination of polished chrome and speckled colour makes these especially good around glass, chrome or a very simple timber table.

Condition

Solid, heavy vintage frames. A couple of chairs have previously been welded, with slight wear to the frames consistent with age and use. Otherwise, the chairs are described as being in excellent vintage condition.
