Italian Vico Magistretti Two-Seater 'Maralunga' sofas in original fabric upholstery. Made in Italy.
Timeless and sought after, these adaptable sofas feature backrests and armrests that can be individually raised and lowered for ultimate relaxation and head support.
These sofas are very comfortable. 
This iconic sofa has a steel structure consisting of two large lateral legs from which the armrests start, the back and the base of the seat. 
Produced by Cassina in 1970s and designed by Vico Magistretti in 1973 for which he won the Compasso d'Oro in 1979.

Sofa - 170cm L x 73cm H x 86cm D

Ottoman -860 W x 560 D x 460 H

Condition

The fabric is sun-faded (as shown in photos) with variation across the couches. The corners and inside areas are less affected, and are therefore darker in colour.
The footstool has much less fading, so is a slightly darker shade than the couches.


There is a small (about 4-5cm splodge), very faded stain on one of the seat cushions.
There is a small rough/scrathy section on one of the seat cushions (about 1-2cm). Photos of both have been provided. There are no rips or holes in the fabric and all 4 seat cushions zippers operate perfectly.


The backrest mechanisms are in great working order.
