A classic and original set of 6 Danish Model 71 dining chairs by Niels Moller for his company J.L. Moller, Denmark.

These elegant chairs are beautifully designed in teak and papercord and feature sculptural curved backs and tapered legs. The model 71 was designed in 1951 and remains a mid century Danish design classic.

*Price is for all six chairs

79cm H x 49cm W x 49cm D
Seat height 43cm

Four of the chairs were imported from Denmark 17 years ago and have been professionally restored with new papercord seats 6 months ago. The teak frames have been sanded and stained in the original finish. All joints have been tested and are solid. These four chairs are stamped on the underside “J.L, Moller Models. Made in Denmark”

The other two chairs were purchased from Great Dane Furniture approximately 10 years ago. The frames on these chairs are lighter in colour and have some age related wear. The papercord seats have a slight sag and the cranes have some wear as shown in the final images. They are still completely usable and solid. If required these chairs could be restored by the same company so they would match the other four chairs
