Set of Five Vintage Timber Ladder Back Dining Chairs with Rush Seats

A beautiful set of five vintage ladder-back dining chairs with warm timber frames, tall backs and handwoven rush seats.

The proportions are wonderfully elegant — elongated turned uprights, softly shaped ladder rails and woven seats that add just the right amount of texture. They have a classic European farmhouse feel, but styled with a more contemporary table they’d read equally well in a relaxed modern interior.

The rush seats are particularly lovely, with a strong geometric weave pattern that gives the set a more refined finish than a standard ladder-back chair.

Condition

Good vintage condition. Slight wear and minor marks to the timber frames consistent with age and normal use. Rush seats are in excellent condition.
