Italian mid-century grey Maralunga sofa chair by Magistretti for Cassina, 1970s.
Maralunga sofa chair covered entirely in grey velvet fabric. This iconic sofa chair has been sourced directly from Europe. It has a steel structure consisting of two large lateral legs from which the armrests start, the back and the base of the seat. The point of difference with the chair lies in the headrests and armrests that can be raised and lowered for total comfort. Produced by Cassina in 1970s and designed by Vico Magistretti in 1973. He won the Compasso d'Oro in 1979.

Condition
Good condition, no fading or abrasions to the upholstery, there is some pilling on the arm/head rest.
