Circa 1960, this mid-century Michael Hirst safari lounge chair is in great condition.
It's all original, with vinyl seat upholstery & thick leather arm straps. It features a no-glue frame, tool-free assembly, and an intelligent construction that causes the joints to tighten when the chair is sat on, enhancing its strength and stability.
Free delivery to Geelong, VIC and Melbourne within 30mins of CBD. Additional costs for outside this area. Local pick up or interstate courier is available too.
85cm H x 60cm w x 65cm D x 37cm Seat Height
Overall, the chair is in great shape with all timber structurally sound, and only showing patina wear consistent with use.
The most visible wear would be to the leather arm straps, they do show some discoloration and light cracking which actually adds a lot of character. The vinyl, both upper and lower is excellent with only two small (barely visible) scratches to the back.
