Carlo Scarpa for Bernini Ten Piece Dining Suite - Table, Chairs & Credenza

An absolutely incredible original Carlo Scarpa Benini ten piece suite, made in Italy.

This set includes a dining table, eight dining chairs and a credenza. 

The design dates back to 1937 by Carlo Scarpa and was made under license by Bernini as a limited edition in the mid 1970’s.

It is referred to as the “Rolls Royce” of mid-century furniture

The timber is European Walnut and all pieces have been recently and totally refurbished by a professional French polisher, inside and out.

The 8 chairs are M. 1937 #765 with removable black leather cushion seating.

Condition

This set has recently been polished and restored by a French polisher. It is in fantastic vintage condition. There is some wear on it. There is one area veneer delamination/ damage inside credenza unit, three marks on the chairs , one area of damage to one of the table legs and one on the credenza door edge. Please see images.
