Carin Bryggman Easy Chair designed for Oy Boman 1950.

Bryggman studied at the Academy of Arts and Crafts from 1940 to 1944 (now Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture). She started her career by working first in Sweden in various architectural offices and then with her father Erik Bryggman in Turku. [31 In 1949, she also founded her own interior design office in Turku as the first woman in Finland. Bryggman was the interior architect of Turku Castle for more than 40 years. Together with her father, she led the restoration work of the castle and designed a lot of fixed and separate furniture and lighting for the castle.


Fabric is brand new. Wood has been updated and oiled. Extremely good condition

The last two photos show the chair before it was upholstered.
