1940s Murano Barovier Ceiling Pendant - Flower

This beautifully crafted, substantial pendant features a wide, flower-like central bowl crafted in a latticed pattern that diffuses light for an ethereal glow. The gently curved glass frame is cradled by two leaf or feather-like structures that follow the form of the base. Both striking and astonishingly pretty. 

Sourced in Italy, this piece comes from the historic Barovier tradition, one of Murano’s oldest and most revered glassmaking families. Its design reflects the atelier’s unique approach to light: hand-blown glass with gentle irregularities, refined proportions and a soft, atmospheric glow. Vintage Barovier works are prized for this balance of craftsmanship and restraint, an understated elegance that captures the essence of classic Venetian design.
