Rare Vintage Waterfall Tessellated Stone Console Table

A beautifully proportioned vintage tessellated stone console table featuring a hand-laid stone finish with fine pewter-silver/bronze inlay and an inset glass top. 

Influenced by the refined tessellated stone designs popularised by Maitland-Smith, this piece balances architectural form with timeless materials, making it equally suited to contemporary, postmodern and minimalist interiors.

A substantial statement piece that works beautifully in an entryway, living room or behind a sofa.

Condition

Excellent vintage condition with only very minor signs of age consistent with careful use. There is a tiny nibble to the back of the frame and some light/tiny surface scratching to the glass (please refer to imagery). The tessellated stone presents beautifully overall, bronze inlay remains crisp, and the inset glass is in excellent condition considering its age.
