Vintage timber book shelf

Compact vintage book shelf with a lovely colour and finish. The wood appears to be Tasmanian Oak that has been stained with a warm glossy lacquer. A sweet piece that is perfect for smaller spaces like a hallway, under a window or to display treasures. The height between each shelf is a generous enough size for both coffee table books and paper backs.

Condition 

Very good vintage condition. The unit has been braced by whoever made it, so it is very sturdy with no wobble. The lacquer has also held up well over time and has very few marks and scratches. The underside of the shelves are not lacquered. There are a few tiny chips to the wood around the feet and some lacquer drips noticeable in certain lights. The unit has a slight lean but is very structurally sound. 

It has been polished with furniture beeswax prior to listing.
