This & That Shelf by Curated Spaces Home.

Introducing the first in an exciting range of furniture and homewares from the team behind Curated Spaces.

The beautiful and versatile This & That Shelf is our answer to your storage problem (in our experience, everyone has a storage problem). This sculptural, solid timber sideboard serves as a functional storage unit designed to also be a beautiful feature piece in your home. 

We know that our customers, like us, love collecting precious things - records, cook books, wine bottles, lamps, vases, sculptures - so the design features open shelves that are deep and high enough that you can proudly display all of your treasures. It could be a place to dump keys and bags at your entrance, or to hide toys in baskets in a kid's room. It's for all your bits and bobs. It's for This & That.


Solid oak FSC-certified timber, sourced from well-managed forests that provide environmental, social, and economic benefits. 

To ensure the highest quality and grain patterns, the timber is hand-selected. We chose solid timber so that the piece would last a lifetime and become a family heirloom, enjoyed for generations.

Treated and stained using a non-toxic colour oil and topcoat. The oil and topcoat products we use are third party tested and verified for product safety, including food surface safety, children's toys and furniture safety, and contain no lead or phthalates.

Approximate weight: The assembled shelf weighs approx. 107kg. Given the substantial nature of the piece, we ship the shelf to our customers in two pieces (backboard and shelves) that are easy for you to assemble together, and easier to manage versus one single heavier piece.

Curated Spaces Home is the exciting new furniture and homewares brand brought to you by the team behind the much loved and trusted vintage furniture and homewares trader, Curated Spaces. Curated Spaces is run by three sisters - Pip, Annelise and Bella. 

Lead Time

Please note this item is sold on pre-sale. The lead time is currently around 2- 6 weeks (except for TAS, SA and WA, which will be longer). Your 'This & That Shelf' will be delivered by the courier to the shipping address you supply on checkout. Please advise if the delivery address changes. 

The lead time is an estimate and may be longer if delivery is affected by events outside of our control. If there are any unexpected delays that arise we will be in touch. 



Please note the shipping fee is not included in the purchase price. We have arranged discounted courier fees for the delivery of the This & That Shelf, detail of which is set out below. 

You will be invoiced by the courier for the delivery fee, which you will need to pay prior to delivery. The delivery agreement is between you and the courier. 

A standard delivery fee of $150 applies for the areas set out below, assuming the delivery is to a ground floor address (for delivery involving stairs or a lift see the Extra Delivery Services section).

  • QLD - Brisbane (within 30km from post code 4000), Toowomba, Gold Coast (Pacific Highway corridor)
  • NSW - Sydney (within 30 km of post code 2142), Ballina, Central Coast, Coffs Harbour, Kempsey, Port Macquirie, Newcastle, Taree, Goulburn, Berrima, Yass, Gundegai, Albury Wodonga and anywhere along the Pacific or Hume Highway.
  • ACT - Canberra (within 30 km of post code 2601) and anywhere along the Pacific or Hume Highway corridors
  • VIC - Melbourne (within 30 km of post code 3000), Wangaratta, Benalla, Seymour and Craigieburn.

Delivery to all other areas will incur an extra fee. Please get in touch with us to organise a custom delivery price. Rates vary depending on delivery location and size of order. 

Customers will be notified as soon as the items are dispatched for delivery. 

Extra delivery services 

  • Stairs: 
    • 1-2 flights = $50 
    • 3-4 flights = $75
  • To have your This & That Shelf unboxed for you and the rubbish removed = $50
  • Assembly of sideboard with rubbish removal = $150
  • Extra man if the delivery is not accessible by trolley $90

Terms of Sale


Curated Spaces Home pieces are handcrafted to order, so if you change your mind we cannot refund your full or partial payment, or offer an exchange. All orders are final. Please take the time to measure your space prior to purchase. 

Due to the nature of handmade furniture we cannot guarantee that every item will be exactly as pictured. Imperfections or variations in the grain, colour, or sheen of the timber may occur naturally. These naturally occurring characteristics are not viewed as damages or defects. No two pieces are exactly the same. Please note that the images of products displayed on the website and Instagram may differ in colour due to differences in resolution, colour settings, brightness or device screens.

Deliveries must be received and signed for by you or your representative in person. On receipt of delivery, you (or your representative) must inspect the item promptly. If we do not receive any correspondence from you within 24 hours of delivery occurring, we will assume that you have accepted the item.

If you have a concern about the item, you must advise us within 24 hours of delivery to you by emailing Please include photos and a description of your concern in the email. If, in our opinion, the item is materially different to how it was described on the site, we will arrange for the item to be collected from you and then issue a full or partial refund (as agreed) to your original payment method. You must use all reasonable endeavours to promptly assist us in arranging for the item to be collected from you.

If the item is not materially different to how it was described on the site, it is not possible to return the item and obtain a refund simply because it is not fit for the purpose you intended, unless that intention was communicated to us prior to the purchase and we told you that the Item would be fit for that purpose.




If you opt for a payment plan, you must make the second payment by the agreed date. Extensions cannot be provided. The second payment is due six weeks after the first payment. You will be emailed prior to the second payment to be notified. The deposit is non refundable. 

The deposit uses pre-authorisation for the full amount of the order but only charges 50%. If you do not have the full amount available on the card being used but would still like to go on a payment plan. Get in touch with us and we can do a custom plan for you.
