An iconic Australian modernist modular sofa designed by Grant Featherston, the Numero VII is one of his most celebrated and sculptural seating designs.
This configuration features the disticntive low, enveloping form with generous proportions and deep channelled upholstery, designed for relaxed, informal living. The modular arrangement allows flexibility in layout while maintaining a strong architectural prescence.
Upholstered in rich burnt-orange velvet, the piece makes a bold statement while remaining timeless. A highly collectible example of mid-century Australian design by one of the country's most influential designers.

Each module is around 80 -85cm wide. 

Condition

Very good vintage condition overall. Two very minor marks on two modules. The underneath of the sofas has a cloth that hides the metal frame entirely unnoticeable. It is slightly worn. This can be removed. Upholstery presents well with light, age-appropriate wear consistent with use. Some modular sections have foam that is slightly softer or more irregular in feel than others, this is minor and is consistent with use and age.

There is minor foam degradation to the underside of certain modules, where original foam has begun to slightly crumble - this is not visible in normal use and does not affect the structural integrity of the sofa. Cushions remain supportive and comfortable overall.
All wear is consistent with a well-preserved vintage piece of this era and has been reflected in the pricing.
