Eva Rattan Armchair Designed by Giovanni Travasa for Vittorio Bonacina

Vintage Eva Rattan Armchair designed by Giovanni Travasa for Vittorio Bonacina.

Reupholstered in Ivory boucle.

Originating from Italy, the Eva armchair has been in production since 1965 and is still being produced by Bonancina to this day. The chair features a stunning rattan curved design - the cane is in its original condition. The cushion has been freshly reupholstered with a Warwick boucle.

This chair has been attributed based off archival records as the vintage Eva chairs do not have a makers mark. Archival records as well and the history of these vintage chairs all point to them being original.

Condition

Cushion presents as new as recently reupholstered in a Warwick boucle. Chairs are vintage and as such there is general wear and tear to the rattan to be expected with age and use. There are scuff marks, darkening and chipping throughout the cane. Still presents absolutely beautifully - please refer to photos.
