Founded in 1946 by Enrico Cappellini, Cappellini is an Italian furniture and lighting brand that has become synonymous with contemporary, avant-garde design. Well known for their product arenas designed by international talents, the Cappellini brand became part of the Poltrona Frau Group in 2005, an international leader in high-end furnishings
Born in London in 1959, Jasper Morrison graduated at the Royal College of Art and established his first design office in 1986. Known for thinking outside the box, he is one of the most successful industrial designers of the past few decades. Morrison defined the term 'super normal', which in his opinion answers the question of what 'good design' should really be.
Morrison’s designs are represented in New York's Museum of Modern Art and other prominent museum collections around the world.
In good vintage condition with some visible marks and signs of use, there is a pink dot on the left arm which is likely nail polish. There is some discolouration on the seats and back. Please see photos. This has been considered in the price. The covers are removable but this can be challenging due to how snug they fit.
