Gio Ponti and Carminati Bamboo Italian Peacock Chair 1950s
Wicker chair designed by Lio Carminati for Vittorio Bonacina, 1950. Carminati was a student of Gio Ponti. Ponti and Carminati originally designed this chair for the luxury ocean liner Conte Biancamano. This model of a wingback chair was used by Carlo Mollino for his erotic portraits.
